Departing Tucson for Nogales, Mexico, heading south on highway 19, the Santa Rita Mountain range appears in the east after you pass the beautiful San Xavier Mission and the city of Green Valley.
With an altitude of almost 6,000 feet, these majestic mountains form a beautiful backdrop for the Sonoran Desert.
